As part of a statewide campaign to raise awareness for land trusts, the Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts (COLT) created a first-of-its-kind map of Oregon. “The Oregon I Am” downloadable map showcases 81 outdoor locations that anyone can visit thanks to the work of the coalition’s 30 conservation nonprofits. COLT reached out to Forest Green to help find a way to properly celebrate this project.

We invited 8 breweries from around the state to make place-based beer inspired by Oregon. Each brewery packaged their beer in cans or bottles with limited edition beer labels that featured artwork from the map and directed consumers to the website. We managed the logistics of the project, built a social media plan, helped pre-sell the beer throughout the state, and organized a public virtual happy hour with the brewers. We also had the pleasure of developing a highly successful PR campaign to tell the statewide story about the beers and also regional stories about the individual collaborations between breweries and land trusts.
